Portcullis Institute is an independent education and training organisation of the Portcullis TrustNet Group.
The Institute works with lead training providers of The Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) in designing programmes and developing curriculum for accreditation under the IBF Financial Industry Competency Standards (FICS) such as the Wealth Management Institute's Certifications in Trust and Estate Planning as well as Trust Administration and the Financial Training Institute's (FTI@SMU) Certification in Fund Administration.
Portcullis Institute also delivers courses that are FICS accredited. Its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses satisfy the continuing education needs of members of various professional bodies and CPD credits are granted to these members upon successful completion of the CPD courses.
As the Accredited Training Provider of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment (CISI), it collaborates with CISI to prepare candidates to sit for the CISI International Certificate in Wealth Management (ICWM).
On the education front, the Institute teaches a course in wealth management for undergraduates of the Lee Kong Chian School of Business at the Singapore Management University (SMU). It also teaches Tax, Trusts and Wealth Planning for the Master's of Science in Wealth Management, a joint Master's programme of the SMU and the Wealth Management Institute (WMI).
